A few years ago, I brought in PE for a workshop at the college where I
was working. We had an educational programming series and PE did a workshop
for World AIDS Day. PE did a customized workshop for us, tailored to the
needs of our group and was sure to meet the requirements we had from the
institution. We had about 20 participants and the workshop was a small group
format that incorporated a presentation and small group discussion.
PE did a great job customizing their curriculum to our needs. I have
referred them to others and they have been able to do the same!
I would definitely utilize them again for a small or large group, should the
need arise!

Prevention Educators was on my campus this past fall to do a training
session with our Resident Assistants (which totaled- 47 student staff
members). The two hour session was titled “Sexual Assault & Domestic
Violence Intervention & Prevention Strategies”. In order to ensure that our
needs were met, I was able to work closely with the PE staff during the
planning process. At the end of our week long training program, the session
provided by PE was voted #2 in the “Top 3 Most Useful Training” sessions by
the RAs who attended! As someone who has previously used a number of other
resources in the community, I would highly recommend Prevention Educators to
any college, university or community group!

Thank you so much for sharing your expertise with our students. It (the
training) was very well received.

Thank you very much for sending Jeanette Koncikowski to our school to
speak to our 4th and 5th grade students on Tolerance/Diversity. Mrs.
Koncikowski did a wonderful presentation using information in a PowerPoint
as well as engaging the students in discussions. She was able to use
situations that were relevant to the age group. The students enjoyed the
presentation and left with a much better understanding of
tolerance/diversity within their school and community. The presentation was
fun and engaging as well as being informative to our students. Mrs.
Koncikowski used our thoughts with regards to what our character trait of
the month was and blended our vision with hers. Thank you for offering a
great service to our students!
